No Club Politics , No Working Bees, No Setting Up Ranges, No Club BS

All you need to worry about is shooting straight and having fun.

Join our club of like minded people, who remember why they started shooting......to enjoy it, relax and meet new mates.

Welcome to The Gunnery Shooting Club!

Indoor range and our new outdoor range based on over 1200 acres.

We understand that many have experienced clubs where the initial excitement fades due to changes in club, lack of recognition, and the frustrations of club politics.
When all you want to do is enjoy a good day of shooting, it can be disheartening.

That’s why we created the Gunnery Shooting Club—to offer a different experience and back to basics on how a club should be.
We believe shooting should be fun and rewarding, free from drama and ego battles.

Our fully managed and privately owned facilities feature ranges from 50 meters to 1800 metres for rifle shooting, as well as some of the largest IPSC bays in South Australia, with up to 270-degree shooting on most ranges!

Our club boasts exclusive access to two premier locations, offering competitions six days a week.
But there’s so much more! As a member, you’ll enjoy a range of unique benefits that go beyond just shooting.

At the GSC, we prioritise what matters most...the love of the sport and a positive community.

Join us and rediscover the joy of shooting at South Australia’s largest and most welcoming shooting range!

A message from the board of directors.

While we operate as a club, we’ve chosen NOT to be a not-for-profit organization to maintain stability and consistency in our operations.
Often, when club leadership changes, the direction and integrity of the organization can shift—sometimes negatively.
At The Gunnery Shooting Club, we’ve all seen how egos can take over and disrupt a club from within, and we are committed to preventing that.

The Gunnery Shooting Club values the opinions of its members, but the management and decision-making ultimately rest with our dedicated Board of Directors. This structure ensures continuity, professionalism, and a consistently high standard for the club.
One of the key benefits of this approach is that the quality and character of the club remain unchanged.

We are deeply committed to reinvesting in the range to make The Gunnery the premier destination for shooters in South Australia.
However, being structured as we are means we face unique challenges—such as being ineligible for government grants that other clubs may rely on for improvements/running costs.
Despite this, our commitment to excellence and growth remains unwavering.

The Gunnery Shooting Club is truly unique. We’ve returned to the fundamentals of what makes a club enjoyable: the shared passion for shooting and the camaraderie of like-minded individuals. To preserve this spirit, we maintain strict membership standards to ensure a positive, welcoming environment.

Our promise to you is simple: we’ll take care of the day-to-day management of the range, so you can focus on enjoying the experience.
We are fully dedicated to expanding and enhancing the complex, ensuring you have the best shooting experience South Australia has to offer.

Together, we’ll continue to set the standard for excellence in shooting sports.

We will always be committed to pushing the envelope of what is normal and will strive to bring new disciplines to the club.
